Memo of 25 February, 2015
To: ARM Top Brass…Messrs Geoff Gallop & David Morris
Greetings again, Gentlemen, and Best Wishes for Easter and Anzac Day – holidays coming up.
You’ll recall I sent you both the attached letters back in September and December, 2014, respectively. I did not get acknowledgements of said letters let alone ANY indication from either of you as to the efficacy of the ARM and The RPA meeting for a pow-wow. [copies attach hereto].
The Oz Republic-by-Default Campaign has well and truly begun…Tasmania in October 2014 and Victoria in January 2015.
I made certain that you both got the Reports on the results of The Republicans’ on-the-ground campaigns in both States per e-mail attachment. However, in case your PC Inboxes are shielded from correspondence such as that which comes from The Writer, then the ‘hard’ copy is enclosed herewith for ready reference.
Whether or not you have heard from another quarter, plans are well-advanced for the launch of the State Republic of Western Australia Campaign on 17 March.
I note that the ARM conducted a survey of its Australia-wide Membership last month.
I freely admit again: It will be a very difficult overALL exercise for The RPA to manage/conduct an Australia-wide
Oz-Republic-by-Default Campaign and so I earnestly, again, invite the ARM to at least countenance a Joint Campaign.
My proposition is that the ARM manage/conduct the relevant campaigns in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia. Thus, 3 States each – which I believe is fair and reasonable.
There’s no doubt…the Oz-Republic-by-Default Campaign has both ATTRACTION and TRACTION! The Tasmanian adventure in October, 2014 was merely ‘encouraging’ but the Victorian adventure in January, 2015 was ‘overwhelmingly positive’.
I’ll, once again, leave the proverbial ball in your court, Guys. Coupled herewith: My latest (2015) business card.
Vive La Republic!
Your Sincere Counterpart, PETER CONSANDINE, National Executive Director, RPA
